As Executive Director of the American Association for Respiratory Care (AARC), Dan Garrett, CAE, leads one of the nation’s largest professional organizations dedicated to advancing the respiratory care profession and improving patient care for individuals with cardiopulmonary disease.
With more than two decades of leadership in healthcare membership organizations, his work focuses on strengthening professional communities, guiding strategic planning, and ensuring organizations remain relevant in a rapidly evolving healthcare environment. At AARC, he works closely with the Board of Directors and national leadership to advance advocacy priorities, enhance member engagement, and develop programs that support more than 40,000 respiratory therapists across the United States.
